About Us

In 2021, we realised we wanted a lifestyle that moved at a very different pace from our family home in central London. Ian and I began looking for a place that could support our favourite pastimes—cycling, skiing, hiking, horse riding, and discovering new destinations. As we explored various regions where at least one of us could speak the local language, our attention kept returning to the Pyrenees while watching the Tour de France.

The region quickly stood out, offering everything we love about the outdoors and much more than we had initially imagined. We eventually chose Bagnères-de-Luchon, drawn by its regular appearance on the Tour route, excellent road and mountain cycling, easy access to skiing, and truly breathtaking hiking.
